Dear Maha,
I created this website because an ordinary birthday message did not feel enough. I wanted to give you something that would stay—a small place you could return to whenever you needed to remember how important you are to me.
Our bond was not created by one dramatic moment. It grew quietly through messages, trust, honesty, and all those conversations that made difficult nights feel less lonely. Somewhere along the way, speaking with you became one of the most natural and comforting parts of my life.
You have seen parts of me that I do not easily show to other people. You have listened to complicated stories, private feelings, and thoughts I could not comfortably express elsewhere. You gave me space to speak without making me feel judged or misunderstood. I may not say it often enough, but that trust means more to me than I can explain.
I also know that I have not always been able to help you in the way I wanted. There were moments when you told me that you were struggling or feeling low, and I could not find the words that would make things better. I am sorry for every time my efforts were not enough. My inability to remove your sadness never meant that I cared any less.
As you enter your twentieth year, I pray that Allah protects your heart, strengthens you through every difficult season, and guides you towards what is truly meant for you. May He grant you a better job, place barakah in the business you dream of building, and surround you with people who recognise your value.
Life will change, and perhaps we will not always speak as often as we do now. But my promise will remain unchanged: whenever life becomes difficult, let Nayem be one of the first names you remember. Insha’Allah, I will remain beside you—not only during easy conversations, but also during the moments when you do not know what to say.
More than anything, I want you to finish this letter knowing one truth: I care about you more deeply than my ordinary words usually manage to show.
Happy 20th birthday, Maha.
Always here for you,
Nayem ♡
